【引用】『外媒图说』人类史第六大地震 日本遭受里氏9级大地震

虽然日本本就是一个地震频发的岛国,但这次大地震还是让身经百震的日本人都无法应对。这场预计已经造成了超过千人死亡的大地震达到了里氏9.0级,不仅是日本有史以来规模最大的一次,也是世界历史上排名第6强的一次超强地震。这场被命名为“2011年东北地区太平洋海域地震”的大地震其强度是上个月新西兰地震的8000倍,并造成了高达33英尺(10米)的大海啸。不少房屋、车辆都被海浪直接冲毁,数千人在海啸的冲击下流离失所。还有不少炼油厂以及天然气工程因为管道受损而引发大火。同时由于地震,也导致了福岛核电站冷却系统停工,陷入紧急状态。目前日本政府已经宣布将释放一部分的放射气体,以减少内部压力,避免反应器爆炸。下面是一组每日邮报整理的各大外媒的图片报道:
